Colombo Additional Magistrate Augusta Atapattu today ordered the Welikada Police to hand over the body of former JVP leader Somawansa Amarasinghe to his relatives.

The order was given after considering a motion filed by a relative and considering the JMO report pertaining to the death.

The JMO report said that there were no suspicions regarding Amarasinghe's death.

His funeral will be held on this Saturday.
