'Eranga's Condition Stable: Expected To Stay In Dublin Until Monday Under Medical Attention' - SLC

Sri Lankan fast bowler Shaminda Eranga has been hospitalised in Dublin, Ireland, following a minor heart problem.

SLC sources told Asian Mirror that Eranga was hospitalised due to "abnormal heartbeat."

However, they said Eranga's condition was not serious. When asked about his availability for the ODIs in England, the SLC source said it was too early to comment on the matter.

Eranga is expected to stay in Dublin until Monday, under medical attention. The rest of the team, however, will travel to England before that to prepare for the ODI series with the home team.

Eranga was reported for his bowling action during the Test series with England, earlier this month. He underwent tests in Loughborough on June 6, with the results expected back soon.
