Borella Police reportedly arrested Principal of Nalanda College, Colombo, Ranjith Jayasundara, earlier today.

He was arrested on allegedly orchestrating the assault of Susantha Herath, a teacher at Nalanda College.

The Principal has allegedly used a group of students in the assault which had taken place within the school premises. 

The teacher and the principal were at odds since the teacher has leveled allegations of corruption against the Principal.
