A stock of 274kg of cocaine was discovered this evening from a container in a Peliyagoda container yard, Police said.

The discovery was made by the Police Narcotics Bureau on information received.

Police in May discovered a large haul of cocaine from a container yard in Orugodawatte. Further investigations into the discovery in May has led to today's discovery.
