The driver of Lasantha Wickrematunge identified the army sergeant arrested recently, as the one who abducted him several days after Wickrematunge's murder.

The sergeant was arrested recently over the murder of former Editor-in-Chief of the Sunday Leader Lasantha Wickrematunga.

He was identified by the diver at an identification parade at the Mount Lavinia courts.

Wickremetunge was murdered on his way to work on January 8, 2009.
