The 'Jana Satana Paada Yatra' organized by the 'Joint Opposition will start from Uthuwankanda today for its second day.

The protest march was launched yesterday from Peradeniya and was ended for the day at Ganethenna.

It was initially planned to end the march at Mawanella on the first day and start off from that town today. However, a court order prevented the march from entering the town today, which made the organizers make this change.

The march is to arrive at Colombo on August 1.
