Government 'Welcomes' Joint Opposition March By Cutting Electricity To Towns: Namal Rajapaksa

UPFA MP Namal Rajapaksa yesterday said that the government keeps the towns in the dark to welcome the 'Joint Opposition' march.

Speaking to the media in Nittambuwa last night, Rajapaksa said that Nittambuwa town was engulfed in darkness when the 'Joint Opposition' rally entered.

Nelumdeniya was also in the dark the previous night in the same manner, Rajapaksa said.

He pointed out that former President Mahinda Rajapaksa developed these towns and this government keeps them in the dark.
