A SriLankan flight was delayed by 15 hours in Frankfurt due to the ill health of a pilot.

The flight left Frankfurt after a different pilot could be transferred to fly the A330. The flight, which was scheduled to land in Katunayake at 4.30 a.m. is expected to land at 7.15 p.m.

Airport sources said that there were 260 passengers and 14 crew members in the flight.
