A Dutch couple was arrested earlier today for unruly behavior by the railway security officers and handed over to the police.

They had arrived on board the Batticaloa - Colombo night train. They were arrested when the train arrived in Colombo.

They had allegedly been under the influence of alcohol and had clashed with the officials in the train. Thereafter they had locked the sleeping compartment from inside and remained there till the end of the journey.
