Left hand batsman Upul Tharanga will replace injured captain Angelo Mathews in the 5th ODI against Australia, Sri Lanka Cricket announced.

Meanwhile, Thisara Perera and Lakshan Sandakan will also be replaced in the squad by Niroshan Dickwella and Dasun Shanaka.

The fifth ODI will be held on Sunday at Pallekele. Australia already has won the series 3-1.
