Prabakaran’s Belongings To Be Exhibited At New Army Museum

It is reported that belongings including National Identity Card of Velupillai Prabhakaran, the leader of the LTTE are to be exhibited at the new army museum. 

Retired Major General Kamal Gunaratne recently said that he has Prabhakaran’s Identity Card and it will be donated to the new army museum. Major General Gunaratne was the General Officer Commanding (GoC) of 53 Division which killed LTTE Leader Velupillai Prabhakaran at Nandikadal.

Army Media Spokesman Brigadier Roshan Seneviratne said that for the sake of people who study history these possessions will not be destroyed. 

He further said that the new army museum will be built in Diyagama, Homagama.
