Ramith Rambukwella Pleads Not Guilty For Drunk Driving

Cricketer Ramith Rambukwella pleaded not guilty for three charges including drunk driving when he appeared before Colombo Traffic Magistrate Chandana Kalansooriya today.

The Cinnamon Gardens Police filed five charges against him including reckless driving, not avoiding an accident, drunk driving, driving an unregistered vehicle and displaying a fake number plate. Rambukwella pleaded guilty for the first two charges.

His license was suspended till October 18 when the case will be taken again.

Rambukwella, son of UPFA MP Keheliya Rambukwella, was arrested after an accident in Independence Avenue last week.
