The party leaders decided to postpone the presentation of the Buddhist Temporalities Ordinance (Amendment) Bill and the ‘Theravada Bhikkhu Dialogue’ Bill until they obtain the blessings of the Maha Sangha.

A section of Buddhist priests have already opposed the current forms of the bills.
