Central Bank Governor Indrajit Coomaraswamy has decided to file a complaint to the CID over the recent leak of documents of the bank.

Accordingly has made this decision after a discussion with the Prime Minister.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister is said to be contemplating the appointment of a separate committee to look in to the matter.

A recent leak of documents revealed details of an ongoing internal investigation into the alleged bond scam in 2015. PM Wimal Weerawansa revealed these details to the public.
