The Sri Lankan cricketers have confirmed that they will sign new player contracts today.

They will have to sign their new player contracts before 1.00 p.m. Seventeen players yesterday informed Sri Lanka Cricket that they will sign the contract before the Zimbabwe tour. However, there were reports claiming that there were still unresolved issues.

According to SLC sources, captain Angelo Mathews confirmed today that they will sign the contracts, refuting these reports.
