Northern Provincial Council member M. K. Sivajilingam, who is a distant relative of V. Prabhakaran, leader of the militant LTTE, has organised a prayer campaign for the victory of Hilary Clinton in upcoming US Presidential Race. 

He planned to break 1008 coconuts in front of Nallur Temple and lit 108 candles in Mary’s church, Jaffna.

He has said that all the troubles of Tamils will vanish after Hillary's victory. Thus, he arrange this prayer campaign.

Mrs. Clinton is known as a pro Tamil politician and her selection will be beneficial to Srilankan Tamils as well as the Tamil diaspora.  

US Presidential election is scheduled to be held on 8th of November 2016.
