Color of the zebra crossings all over Sri Lankan roads are subjected to be changed from 3rd December. 

Thus all currently yellow colored zebra crossings will be changed to white color.

Road Development Authority announced that this decision was taken to maintain international standards. 

Further it was pointed out that the white color zebra crossings are much more visible than yellow color zebra crossings.
