First Ever Hospital For Differently Abled Children In Sri Lanka: 'AYATI' Commenced Construction

Ayati Centre is going to be the first ever hospital in Sri Lanka for differently abled children which is constructed within one year of time. 

First Stone Laying ceremony of Ayati project was took place at Faculty of Medicine University of Kelaniya 3rd of December.

State Minister of Defence Ruwan Wijewadene was the chief guest. Religious dignitaries, senior military officials, representatives of Hemas Holdings and University of Kelaniya were present at the ceremony.

Under the blessings of the Ministry of Defence, Sri Lanka Navy has volunteered to provide required manpower to build 42,000 sq.ft center in the Medical Faculty grounds at Ragama.

AYATI a center of excellence for children with disabilities was initiated by Hemas Holdings PLC together with the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Kelaniya.
