Twelve New Stamps Show Sri Lanka's Beauty

Sri Lanka Philatelic Bureau of the Department of Posts has issued 12 new postal stamps depicting 12 unseen places of natural beauty in Sri Lanka and 03 souvenir sheets on 2nd December.

These new stamps have been handed over to the Minister of Post, Postal Services, and Muslim Religious Affairs M.H. Haleem by the Post Master General Rohana Abeywickreme.

The places depicted in the stamps are: Bambarakanda waterfall, Frederick North Bungalow (Doric House), Fort Hammenheil, Hummanaya, Sand dunes in Poonerin, Wild Horse Sanctuary in Delft Island, Govinda Hela, Mini World's End, Queen's Tower in Delft Island, Senanayake Samudraya, Thalaimannar lighthouse and old jetty and Point Kadiramalai.
