Some Elements Are Trying To Make Wrong Picture Over New Constitution: de Silva

Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation Nimal Siripala de Silva rejects false propaganda circulated by certain groups over the new constitution. 

He added that some elements are trying to make wrong picture over the constitution saying that it leads to damage unitary status of the country and remove the foremost place given for Buddhism. 

They have also propagated false information that northern and eastern provinces are going to be merged. 

Addressing a rally held in Badulla the minister said that unitary status and place given for Buddhism will surely secured by the new constitution. 

He also said that measures have been taken to strengthen SLFP and party emblem.
