Salaka Chief Gamini Nethicumara Pleads Guilty For Defaulting A Security Company

The owner of the Salaka business at Union Place, Colombo 2 Gamini Nethicumara today pleaded guilty for charges filed by Slave Island police over defaulting a sum of Rs.326,987 owed to a private security company which provided security to Salaka.

However, the case was settled before Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage since the entire amount of due payment had been paid by the suspect to the complainant party.

In a separate development, Samantha Dilrukshana, a businessman from Pannipitiya lodged a complaint with the Colombo Fraud Bureau against Sudharma Nethicumara, Gamini Nethicumara's wife, alleging that he had given Rs.5 million to the businesswoman who promised to pay back the money with dividends.
 
 Gamini Nethicumara drew media's attention in the recent past when he gave an interview to a weekend Sinhala newspaper accusing his wife of having an extra marital affair with a person named 'Hula' who held an influential position in the country's defence establishment.
 
Responding to Nethicumara's allegations, his wife Sudharma said  the person named "Hula" was guilt-free and her husband was attempting to tarnish her image.
