Sirisena's Henchmen Try To Take Credit For Work Done With Public Money

December 21, 2016

A former member of the Dehiwela - Mount Lavinia Municipal Council has expressed his opposition to a notice board put up near the Fernando Road in Mt. Lavinia by supporters of President Maithripala Sirisena.

The notice board states that the 'residents' thank President Maithripala Sirisena, Western Province CM Isura Devapriya and Dehiwela SLFP Chief Organizer Keerthi Udawatte for getting the road paved with a carpet.

However, a former UNP municipal councilor, Yamitha Nalinda Rajapaksa, has hoisted a banner beneath the notice board, opposing the attempt to take credit for the work done with public money.
