The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna launched its official Facebook page today at the office of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Nelum Mawatha, Battaramulla.

Former President Rajapaksa has also offered his blessings for the new Facebook page in a video message.

The SLPP was formed on November 2 under the leadership of Prof. G.L. Peiris. It has been described as a party for the SLFP members who are against the Maithripala Sirisena leadership.
