Convener of the Collective of Citizens Organisations, Saman Rathnapriya says the investigations in regard to corrupt activities and frauds which were committed during the previous regime should be expedited and the culprits have to be brought to the book immediately.

He added that politicians, journalists and other activists were killed during the past regime. Addressing a media briefing held in Colombo, the convener highlighted that the culprits have to be dealt with law irrespective of their positions. 

\Anura Bandara Rajaguru told the press briefing that expectations of the people have been fulfilled to some extend under the present government. 

He pointed out that but the present administration has to earn the confidence of the general public further.
