Chinese Minister of Defense Chang Wanquan called on President Maithripala Sirisena last morning at the President’s Official Residence.

 The Chinese Defense Chief is in the country on a two-day state visit. 

At the meeting, President Sirisena and the Chinese Defense Ministers resolved to enter into several agreements that would not impinge on the sovereignty of either country.
