Paralympics Bronze Medal Winner Dinesh Priyantha Meets President: President Thanks Him For Prestige Earned To The Motherland

Dinesh Priyantha who won the Bronze Medal in the Javelin Throw event at Rio Paralympics in Brazil in 2016, and Silver Medal at World Para Athletics Championships  in London in 2017 met President Maithripala Sirisena yesterday (22) at the Presidential Secretariat.

He showed his medals to the President who thanked him for the prestige earned for the motherland.

The President wished him the success in his future endeavors.

Sports Minister Dayasiri Jayasekara, President of the Paralympics Committee U. R. Rodrigo and the Trainer Pradeep Nishantha also were present on this occasion. (PMD)
