Friends star Matt le Blanc is currently in Sri Lanka, filming for BBC Top Gear.

 Top Gear, the long-running show travels to locations around the world, performing extreme stunts and challenges to see what the featured cars are capable of doing. Celebrity guests appear on some episodes to help test the vehicles. 

The Top Gear crew was in the Eastern Province, earlier this week, for the first part of their shoot. 

He attracted international recognition and acclaim for his portrayal of Joey Tribbiami on the popular sitcom Friends, which ran from 1994 to 2004; for his work on Friends, LeBlanc received three Emmy Award nominations. LeBlanc has also starred as a fictional version of himself in the BBC/ Showtime comedy series Episodes (2011–2017), for which he won a Golden Globe Awards and received four additional Emmy Award nominations.

He has hosted BBC Top Gear since 2016.
