Questions have been raised to whether a state institution is causing a massive breach of confidential information through gross negligence.

Asian Mirror learns that the Department of Registration of Persons is storing personal documentation in the Department’s canteen.

These personal documents include photographs, birth certificates, grama seveka certificates, police reports and other such records of immense importance.

Concerned public claim that storing confidential information in this negligent manner leaves the information open to be used for criminal activity.
