The 139th Battle of the Blues has been postponed by a day due to the funeral of Venerable Daranagama Kusaladhamma Thera, which is to be held on March 8.

The annual Royal-Thomian cricket encounter was scheduled for March 8, 9, 10 but will now be held on March 9, 10, 11, authorities said.

Chief Incumbent of Sri Sambodhi Viharaya, Venerable Daranagama Kusaladhamma Thera passed away today at the age of 54.

His funeral is to be held on Thursday March 8 at the Independence Square in Colombo.
