The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission, in a statement, said the TNL network has not renewed licence for its transmission centre in Pogahawela. 

The TRC said the television network has obtained license for its other transmission centres but not for  the one operated  in Polgahawela. 

The statement also said no TV station could use a transmission centre without license and the media network has been duly warned on April 27, 2016. 

The TRC said there was no ulterior motive behind the decision.
