Arjun Aloysius, Kasun Palisena Re-Remanded Till July 19: Arrested For Involvement In Treasury Bond Scandal

Former owner of Perpetual Treasuries Ltd. Arjun Aloysius and CEO Kasun Palisena were today re-remanded till July 19.

The two men are be held on charges they were involved with the Central Bank Treasury Bond scandal.

Perpetual Treasuries Ltd. made ‘unprecedented gains’ during the bond auction that occured while Aloysius’s father-in-law Arjuna Mahendran was Governor of the Central Bank.

A warrant is out for the arrest of Arjuna Mahendran who is believed to be hiding out in Singapore.
