UPDATE: Sajith Premadasa Refrains From Voting On Proposal To Form Common Alliance For Presidential Election

UNP Deputy Leader Sajith Premadasa has abstained from voting when the proposal to form a common alliance was taken for a vote at the party Working Committee meeting today.

"Also, no agreement yet on the date of the launch event," he further added.

Minister Ajith Perera, a fervent supporter of UNP Deputy Leader Sajith Premadasa posted on Facebook after the UNP Working Committee meeting that it was an "inauspicious day".
