UPFA MPs S.B. Dissanayake and Dilan Perera have obtained membership with the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP).

Both Dissanayake and Perera were present at the SLPP at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium earlier this month.

Dissanayake was removed from his position as the Treasurer of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLPP) earlier this week.

Dissanayake's conduct as an SLFP member has come under fire from many members of the party.

Speaking to Asian Mirror, a senior SLFP representative said Dissanayake now ceas to be a member of the SLFP.
