MP Kanchana Wijesekara has made public two documents pertaining to Sri Lanka Podujana (SLPP)Peramuna Presidential candidate Gotabhaya Rajapaksa’s citizenship.

The MP posted on Twitter what he described as candidate Rajapaksa’s Dual Citizenship certificate that was obtained in 2005 and the Certificate of Loss of US Citizenship which was purportedly obtained in April 2019.

This comes as Rajapaksa faces stiff opposition to his candidacy after several allegations surfaced about his citizenship.
