The Colombo Fort Magistrate has issued an arrest warrant on former SriLankan Airlines CEO Kapila Chandrasena and his wife on the alleged Airbus deal.

The Attorney General earlier today instructed the CID to obtain an arrest warrant to arrest the two with regard to the investigation.

President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has ordered a full-scale investigation into the matter.

It is now revealed that the company has allegedly paid out a sum of 2 Million US dollars to the wife of the former SriLankan Airlines CEO to secure a deal.
