Sri Lanka Imposes Ban On Flights From South Korea, Italy And Iran To Limit Spread Of COVID-19

Sri Lanka has imposed a ban on flights from Italy, South Korea and Iran.

The decision has been made amidst fears of a rapid surge of COVID-19 cases in Sri Lanka.

The three countries have been identified as "high-risk countries" by Sri Lankan authorities.

Two Sri Lankans have been tested positive for COVID-19 thus far. Dozens of people are under medical observation as suspected cases.
