The number of confirmed COVID-19 patients in Sri Lanka has risen to 7, health authorities confirmed a short while ago. Two more patients, who have been infected with the virus, have been admitted to the IDH earlier today.

One of them was at the Kandakadu quarantine centre while the other is a resident of Nattandiya. Both of them are returnees from Italy.

Over 100 are under medical observation at government hospitals with suspected symptoms.
