Second Batch Of Sri Lankan Returnees Leave Quarantine Centres: Army Says 201 Persons Are Now Free To Join Their Families

The second batch of 201 people who completed the quarantine period have left the Kandakadu (144) and Punani (57) Quarantine Camps today.

The first batch was released yesterday and the military provided them with transport facilities.

The quarantine process was handled by the security forces under the supervision of Army Commander Lt. General Shavendra Silva.

Thousands of Sri Lankans who returned from foreign countries are still in quarantine centres run by the military.
