A staff member at the Lankapura Divisional Secretariat has tested positive for coronavirus, Health Services Director General Anil Jasinghe said.

The employee is a close contact of a patient from the Kandakadu cluster, he also added.

He also said measures were taken to identify the close contacts of the new patients and put them through tests .
