Major Haul by Police: Assets and Vehicles Worth Over Rs. 106 Milion Seized in Yukthiya Operation

The Illegal Assets & Properties Investigation Division of the Sri Lanka Police, during the ongoing Yukthiya operation, has seized assets and land valued at Rs. 450 lakhs along with luxury vehicles valued at Rs. 610 lakhs. The impressive operation represents a substantial blow to individuals engaged in illegal activities, marking a key moment in law enforcement efforts to combat organized crime.

Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP) Deshabandu Tennakoon announced the successful operation, highlighting the commitment of the police force to dismantle networks involved in illegal activities and seize assets acquired through illicit means.
