Japan has extended a grant of 40,000 metric tons of diesel fuel. The contribution is poised to facilitate the seamless transportation of critical medical supplies and services throughout the country.

The official transfer of this vital resource took place at the "Dolphin Jetty" within the bustling confines of Colombo Port. Dr. Ramesh Pathirana, Sri Lanka's Minister of Health, gratefully accepted the donation from Japanese Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Mizukoshi Hideaki, in a ceremony that underscored the enduring partnership between the two nations.

With a focus on transparency and efficiency, a meticulous system has been devised to oversee the equitable distribution of fuel. This comprehensive framework meticulously documents recipient vehicles, fuel allocations, and the healthcare institutions slated to benefit from this largesse.
