MP Gunatileka Rajapakse bas become a temporary monk.

SLPP MP Gunatileke Rajapaksa, grieving the loss of his wife, has temporarily become a Buddhist monk, known as Venerable Harispathuwe Dhammarathana Thera.

His son has also joined the clergy as Venerable Ampare Dhammaloka Thera.

The ordainment took place at India's Isipathanarama Temple.
