SriLankan Airlines Addresses Delay in UL 470 Flight to South Korea

 

SriLankan Airlines issued a statement addressing the delay encountered by its flight UL 470 bound for Incheon, South Korea, on March 19, 2024. The airline confirmed that efforts were made to accommodate all 217 passengers affected by the delay, attributed to technical reasons. While 117 passengers resumed their journey the following day, the remaining 100, primarily traveling for work, have been rebooked for March 24, 2024.The decision was made in consultation with HRD Korea and the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment to ensure minimal impact on their employment. 

SriLankan Airlines expressed regret for any inconvenience caused and reaffirmed its commitment to providing a seamless travel experience, particularly for migrant workers.
