Two individuals have been apprehended following the seizure of a substantial quantity of drugs in Nugegoda. Police sources reveal that the confiscated narcotics are believed to be linked to underworld figure 'Dubai Kapila'. Special Task Force (STF) operatives detained a male suspect along with a female alleged accomplice suspected of facilitating the drug operation.
The raid, conducted in close proximity to the Sri Jayewardenepura University, resulted in the confiscation of 13 kilograms of heroin, 6 kilograms of hashish, and 0.5 kilograms of cocaine.
