'Manna Ramesh' Repatriated to Sri Lanka from Dubai

 

Today, Sri Lanka witnessed the return of underworld figure Ramesh Priyajanaka, famously known as 'Manna Ramesh', as he was repatriated from Dubai.
Accompanied by a team of CID officers, he arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake. 'Manna Ramesh' was apprehended in Dubai on March 6, following intelligence shared with Sri Lankan security forces. Wanted for a string of crimes, including multiple murders in the Avissawella area, he is suspected to have led an organized criminal gang, involved in various illicit activities such as drug trafficking and extortion. Further investigations by the CID are underway.
