Securities and Exchange Commission was ordered by Colombo Magistrate Courts to submit a report on transactions in Colombo Stock Exchange by four individuals including Dilith Jayaweera and Nalaka Godahewa.

 

The other individuals named are Varuni Amunugama and Sarvajana Anandaraj Amarasekera. The Magistrate Courts directed SEC to submit records of the transactions from 2008.

 

This order was given by the court following a request by the police Financial Crimes Investigations Division in relation to the alleged financial fraud in Lanka Hospitals.
