National Freedom Front Leader Wimal Weerawansa said that a new 'Mahinda-Maithri' era will dawn on August 18. He made this statement at the press conference convened this morning at Abhayarama Temple in Colombo. 

 

He said that the election victory of the UPFA was assured. The UNP propagates lies to win election, he said.

 

Former UPFA MPs Vasudeva Nanayakkara, Manusha Nanayakkara and Bandula Gunawardena along with Pivithuru Hela Urumaya leader Udaya Gammanpila also took part in the press conference.
