Sri Lanka U19 Demolish Canada In Commanding Performance

Sri Lanka U-19 cricketers beat Canada U-19 by 196 runs in the ICC Under-19s Cricket World Cup played at the Sylhet Stadium in Bangladesh today.

Sri Lankan batsmen piled up 315 for 6 and the Canadian team could manage only 119 before being bowled out.

Sri Lankan captain Charith Asalanka top scored with 76 runs in an innings which included nine boundaries. Sammu Ashan remained unbeaten on 74 off 61 deliveries with six boundaries.

Arslan Khan top scored for Canada with 42 not out and Sri Lankan origin opener Bhavindu Adhihetty, who is under 16 years of age, scored 22.
