Ramith Rambukwella, son of Keheliya Rambukwella, was seen showing his middle finger to reporters outside Colombo High Court today (11) after being served with indictments.
He faces charges of unlawful asset accumulation. The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) filed the indictments, alleging that Rambukwella failed to account for assets worth over Rs. 296 million.
The case, filed under the Anti-Corruption Act, covers the period from 1 January 2022 to 14 November 2023, during which he served as his father’s private secretary.
