The Sri Lankan Rupee continued to depreciate against the US Dollar today, with selling rates at several commercial banks rising to Rs. 325.
According to Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar increased to Rs. 317.25 and Rs. 325 respectively.
At NDB Bank, the buying and selling rates were recorded at Rs. 318 and Rs. 324.50 respectively.
Meanwhile, People’s Bank reported that the buying rate of the US Dollar had risen to Rs. 318.10, while the selling rate increased to Rs. 325.11.
At Commercial Bank of Ceylon, the Dollar buying and selling rates were recorded at Rs. 316.53 and Rs. 325 respectively.
Similarly, Sampath Bank reported the buying and selling rates at Rs. 318.25 and Rs. 324.75 respectively.
